New York City FB Challenge - 5 Bridge Tour

On Saturday, April 26th, 2014 we held the First Annual FB challenge. NYC was the location this year and the challenge consisted of a 5 bridge walking tour (GWB, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Williamsburg, and Queensboro). General Stats- We logged 301,775 steps for an average of 33,530 per participant. We covered almost 132 miles covered about 14.7 miles each. GWB Bridge - The George Washington Bridge took us 45 minutes (both ways) and was approximately 1.77 miles. Manhattan/Brooklyn - This circular route took us 1 hour 15 minutes, just under 3 miles total. Williamsburg - This was our longest bridge walk. The round trip was 2 miles completed in 52 minutes. The bubbles may have slowed us down a bit. Queensboro - The record keeping crew lost focus due to the parachuting bunnies hence the stats were not recorded for this bridge. |
